Let’s help you find out whether your home or business qualifies for Government subsidies or incentives.
The VEU (Victorian Energy Upgrade) program is a state government scheme that provides incentives to Victorian homes and businesses to install energy efficient upgrades.
Previously known as the VEET, this program provides generous incentives to replace existing materials and appliances, such as LED lighting, Hot Water System, Air conditioning and other, to reduce energy use and emissions. In this way the VEU allows Victorians save money and help us meet our state and national Carbon Emissions targets.
The VEEC (Victorian Energy Efficiency Certificate) program allows Victorian businesses to benefit financially from installing energy-efficient LED lighting in their premises. The VEEC issues one certificate for every 1 tonne of carbon saved.
Energy Makeovers is an accredited VEEC participant, which means when we install LED lightings for your business, we can collect the certificates on your behalf, and we pass on the savings to you.
We’re incredibly proud of the fact that to date we’ve generated over 5.6 million VEECs. That’s over 5 million tonnes of carbon emissions that we’ve saved, helping Australia work towards the clean energy targets set down in the Paris Climate Accord.
The HEER (Home Energy Efficiency Retrofits) scheme is NSW’s answer to the VEU. Homes and businesses in NSW can access state government incentives for qualifying energy efficiency upgrades activities, such as LED light installation.
Home and business owners in other states may also be eligible for state grants and incentives. If your state has programs in place, we’ll help you access them, making upgrading to energy efficient technology cheaper and more accessible.
