Helping you upgrade to a Heat Pump hot water system.

Your current hot water system is probably costing you more than it should.

Upgrading to an energy efficient heat pump hot water system could help you reduce your energy use and save on your energy bills too.

Energy Makeovers will support you to understand the right size system for your home. We’ll set up a time for an assessment of your hot water energy efficiency, at zero cost to you.

How does a heat pump hot water system help me save?

A heat pump hot water unit contains the heating process, which limits energy wastage (like a split-system air conditioner) and costs a lot less than the traditional electric and gas heating systems.

Typically, you could save up to 80%* on your home hot water costs, as a heat pump hot water unit only uses electricity for the compressor and the fan, instead of using electricity through an electric element to heat the water directly.

*Data sourced from Victorian Government Sustainability Victoria site – June 2023 Water Heating Running Costs Comparison; comparing running costs of 6-star natural gas instant system, 4-star natural gas storage system, electric instant system on peak tariff, electric storage system on peak tariff, and a high-efficiency heat pump hot water system on off-peak tariff for an average consumption of 150L per day (4-person household).
