What does a Heat Pump do?

Unfortunately, there are not enough subsidies available to make a gas water heater upgrade to a heat pump free. However, there are still substantial subsidies available to upgrade gas water heaters and these subsidies combined with the energy cost savings offered by a heat pump make this a no-brainer investment at a very modest cost.
Is the free heat pump supplied and installed?
Yes. Your product will be installed by a fully trained, licensed electrician and plumber. You will be provided with all certificates of compliance and safety with the rebate paperwork organised for you.
Can I install the heat pump myself?
Like the LED upgrade program, you cannot install this yourself. But, the great thing is, you don’t need to. It’s done for free by licensed professionals, so you don’t need to worry about installing it. Under the regulations of the program, it needs to be installed by a licensed professional.
